Heat1

A quick drying track & major decisions are to be made Slicks or Wet’s.

Pressures high or low? On the other hand, is it more important to see what the opposition is doing? OK we can see if he has wet’s or inters but what pressure? What pressure indeed. Especially as the season is starting to close & the championship points are close, whatever level you are racing at, your still racing.

Gilbert took the fastest lap on slicks Wooder took the win, Francis & Dickinson DNF.

Heat 2

Brittian & Kerr take the front row. With confusion and some drivers signalling for another roll up lap many did not realise they had started racing, the starter was happy and they had the green light. Brittain jumped into an early lead followed by Bent & Fordham. Lap 4 & bent takes the lead followed by Fordham putting Brittian back to 3rd followed by Weatherley while Wooder takes Kerr for 5th.

Towards the final stages of this race Fordham takes bent for 1st Wooder takes 3rd .

Heat 3

Tomlinson on pole with Fordham alongside at the lights. Tomlinson gets the lead followed by Jones but on the approach to the valley, Friend makes the move stick & takes 2nd Francs taking places along the pit straight. Lap 3 Friend takes the lead with Tomlinson & Jones maintaining their positions, Day tries a move on Jones into Lunar & makes it stick. Meanwhile Fordham in 7th place is keeping Wooder behind. Friend finishes the victor followed by Tomlinson & Day.

Final

Fordham takes pole, on lap 1 leads by a few kart lengths. Friend’s in 2nd Wooder slots into 3rd followed by Bent & Weatherley. Mid race, Weatherley takes Bent & Dickinson follows him through putting Bent back to 6th. Into the final stages & blue flags, start to be waved for the back markers Paul O’Neil pulls over & points the leaders through not impeding there race at all. Well done Paul. 5 minutes 42 seconds into the race at the valley  Friend trying  to find a way through Wooder waiting to pounce Remember this is the penultimate round and if Wooder cant win he would certainly like to finish with the most points closest to Fordham to stop him taking his title. With just a few laps to go at the front, it would remain the same.

With Fordham, winning from pole getting maximum points it all goes down to the wire at Lydd for the final round of the Dadson Masters 2007 To keep up to date with grid interviews go to www.dadsonmotorsport.co.uk
